Philip Martin

Born in Liverpool 1938. Philip Martin trained at RADA as an actor and appeared in various leading roles on stage and TV. He has also pursued a career as a writer and has contributed scripts to many series including his own BBC1 ‘Play for Today’ film and subsequent BBC1 2×6 part series. His other writing work includes plays for the National Theatre and the Royal Court. His contributions to Doctor Who are ‘Vengeance on Varos’, ‘Mindwarp’ and a novelisation of ‘Mission to Magnus’ for Target Books in the ‘missing episodes’ series.
