About the Author

Chef Patrice Johnson is an ACE-certified personal trainer and former contractor for the United States Navy. In 2002, she fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a professional chef, and graduated the prestigious California School of Culinary Arts with high honors. Chef Johnson operates her own personal chef business, Mystique, and is the author of Uncut: The Inside Story of Culinary School. When she isn’t cooking or managing her business, Johnson enjoys camping, wine tasting, and fantasy football.
