Author Essay

Dear Reader,

As I told you before my last release, Seducing the Succubus, I’ve always had a fascination for the so-called mythical creatures of the world, and how they would exist within our little realm of “reality”. I was one of those dreamer children who could happily play for hours by myself while I pretended to be a dragon or a princess—although my version was always a kick ass princess with lots of fighting skills who saved Prince Charming, but NEVER the other way around.

I suppose that’s why I became a writer so I never had to stop playing pretend. Now I have a job where I get to explore what it would be like to actually BE all those characters for a while. I’ve written gargoyles, vampires, witches, shape shifters, zombies and even a fairy or two. After stumbling across a History Channel show about demons and succubi, my imagination went into writer’s overdrive.

The Second book in the “Sisters of Darkness Series” is called The Demon and the Succubus and is about the second succubi sister, Amalya, who has spent the centuries using her succubus skills to become one of the most sought-after escorts at a high class brothel. Seducing and corrupting men to make her quota with her queen, Lilith, has left Amalya jaded about sex-until a devastatingly handsome new client triggers her most forbidden desires and delivers an enticing surprise.

Levi Spencer, Duke of Ashford, has been offered a deal he can’t refuse in exchange for safely slipping Amalya back into Lilith’s lair. But a demon with a vendetta is plotting something far more sinister than Amalya’s death. And if Levi and Amalya can’t stop him, it will mean the end of the world.

And as you can guess, Armageddon is coming…what a writer’s dream—to get to write the end of the world?!? : ) But also to tie up a very satisfying and tender love story—did I mention I love my job?? : )

I hope you enjoy reading their story as much as I enjoyed writing it! I’d love to hear from you at
