Something BIG is going on in the woods near DSA! Wiglaf and his friends are on a rescue mission to save Worm, the dragon they’ve raised since he hatched. It’s the last day of the school year, so it must be time for Wiglaf and all his friends at Dragon Slayers’ Academy to go home and enjoy the lazy hazy days of a medieval summer. Ummm, not quite. Not when Mordred the gold-hungry headmaster realizes there’s money to be made running a camp. This double-sized summer super special packs in twice the fun for fans of DSA, and there’s a full-color 8-page insert that pulls out and includes a ghost story, jokes, and more. Find out how Erica (his most fervent admirer), Wiglaf, and the rest of the gang get Lancelot back in action, battling the feared Grizzlegore, the world’s oldest living dragon.
Book 15
Wiglaf ’s latest assignment for the DSA school paper is to write an in-depth article about the headmaster: Who is the real Mordred de Marvelous? Wiglaf, with help from his buddy Angus, decides the best way to learn all about the headmaster is to follow him around school for a day. When Wiglaf and his pals from Dragon Slayers’ Academy meet up with the wizard Zelnoc, all they ask is for a little magic to help them get through the Dark Forest fast.  But unfortunately, Zelnoc’s spells always end with an “Oops! Sorry about that!”  So, yes, the boys are able to travel much faster now…but that’s because they have wings, can fly, and have been turned into dragons!  And they become the newest students at Dragon Slackers’ Academy, a school that teaches knight-slaying!  This funny turnabout in which the kids from DSA suddenly see life from a dragon’s point of view makes a wonderful addition to this popular series!
