After reuniting with his friends, the large gap in Tōta’s memories is filled when he’s told what really happened after Ba’al’s forces attacked the orbital ring. Some allies that were thought lost are found and the wounds created by Tōta being absent for over 40 years are healed with immortal love.

After Tо̄ta defeats the Fushi-Gari targeting Kurо̄maru, the Shinmei reveal a big secret. They have located Ialda and also calculated when she will activate her ultimate spell, Cosmo Entelekheia. With this information in hand, the time has come for UQ Holder to finally confront Ialda and end her for good. Once the final preparations have been made, UQ Holder will depart from the top of the tower to Pluto. Tо̄ta will finally achieve his dream of reaching the top of the tower as a fleet of spaceships await to take UQ Holder to battle. However, his dream may become a nightmare…

After travelling all the way to Kyoto, Tōta and Kirië finally track down Nagi’s old workshop, where they meet Albert Chamomile, Negi Springfield’s old partner. There, Albert shows Tōta memories from Negi’s past, including an alternate timeline of how Negi’s life would have been if Tōta didn’t exist. Tōta watches from the sidelines as a decisive battle unfolds between Negi and Nagi, and finally sees firsthand the overwhelming power of the two mages that came before him.

THE SEARCH FOR ANSWERS

After their showdown, Negi asks Tōta to follow in his footsteps. The request brings Tōta and Kirië to Kyoto in search of an old workshop owned by Nagi Springfield, Negi’s father and Tōta’s great-grandfather. But uncovering the workshop isn’t such an easy task, and with Kirië struggling over her conflicted feelings for Tōta, the trip might be more than the two of them can handle.
