Invisibility is one of the most painful states that a human being can experience. Lamentably, this invisibility originates in the place where children should feel the most protected and loved: their homes. A parent’s indifference leads children to feel ignored, insecure, and abandoned. To protect himself, the ignored child unconsciously develops strategies that at first help him to reduce frustration and pain, but in the long term they become a problem.
 
But how much attention do children need? How can we know if the amount we’re giving them, even if it seems like a lot, is really inadequate or insufficient?
