Words or phrases repeat in subsequent lines, resulting in stanzas that beg to be read aloud, such as “Astronaut dinosaurs riding / Riding on the bus / On the bus, to the giant rocket.” Dale surrounds her catchy, lilting narrative with intricate and brightly colored watercolor-and-pencil illustrations full of enthusiastic dinos and lots of vehicles for space travel, such as a command module and a moon buggy—to name a few. Beautifully designed, this is a fun read from beginning to end.
