There’s also a list of less conventional but useful items, such as baby wipes and straws, which experienced jewelers may think to include. The book is packed with detailed steps on every stage of the process, from mixing and pouring, to layering metallics, using color and working with 3D objects. In the projects section, the heart of the book, the author outlines specific handmade crafts but writes it much like a recipe, with the “ingredients” (materials) listed first, followed by numbered directions. All the projects include beautiful color images of the final result. One great feature is the offering of an alternative project, such as a different jewelry item or accessory, that can be made using the same materials.VERDICT A thoughtful and thorough resource that will have readers crafting with resin in no time.”
