¿Qué relación tuvieron los cátaros con el Grial? ¿Desaparecieron para proteger su secreto?

Encuentran los cadáveres de dos hombres asesinados en Terrassa. Uno acababa de morir, el otro llevaba enterrado en ese lugar más de cuarenta años y portaba una cruz occitana de oro colgada al cuello. Los dos iban ataviados con las mismas túnicas grises.

Onofre Vila, un anciano multimillonario afincado en Balaguer, está obsesionado con desentrañar los misterios de la piedra caída del paraíso para obtener la vida eterna. Su nieto Sergi y su lacayo Mohamed lo ayudarán en su propósito.

El inspector Font y el intendente Martí, pertenecientes al cuerpo de los Mossos d’Esquadra, con la colaboración del profesor Llull, catedrático de historia, investigarán los asesinatos para hallar a los culpables. Mónica, la hija del profesor, así como Mario Luna, un ladrón de arte medieval, también se verán envueltos en la trama sin proponérselo.

Un thriller cargado de misterio, persecuciones por las calles de Barcelona y asesinatos donde se entrelazan las leyendas de los romances del Grial con el tesoro cátaro y la desaparición temprana de esta religión. Una historia de intriga muy bien documentada que se acerca a algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos del arte románico, como el valle de Boí, Terrassa o el MNAC para estudiar su significado.

The bodies of two men murdered in Terrassa have been found. One just died, the other had been buried there for over forty years and wore an Occitan golden cross around his neck. They were both dressed with the same gray tunic.
 
Onofre Vila, an old multimillionaire settled in Balaguer, is obsessed with unraveling the mysteries of a stone that fell from heaven so he may live forever. His grandson, Sergi, and his servant, Mohamed, will help him in his quest.
 
Inspector Font and Mayor Martí, both members of the Mossos D’Esquadra corps—with the collaboration of Professor Llull, a history teacher—will investigate the murders to find those guilty. Mónica, the professor’s daughter, and Mario Luna, a medieval art thief, will also get inadvertently tangled in the plot.
 
A thriller imbued with mystery, chases through the streets of Barcelona, and murder, intertwining legends of Grail lore, Cathar treasure, and the early disappearance of their religion. A well-documented story of intrigue that gets close to some of the most emblematic places of Romanesque art, such as the Boí Valley, Terrassa, and the National Art Museum of Catalonia, to study their significance.
