No por nada se trata, hoy en día, de una de las enfermedades crónicas no contagiosas y sin cura más frecuentes del mundo. Solamente en España, se calcula que afecta a más de seis millones de personas y que su tasa de incidencia es cada vez más alta. Eso no significa, sin embargo, que no podamos disfrutar de una vida plena con ella.

In Spain alone, it is estimated that over six million people have diabetes, and the incidence rate keeps growing. This doesn’t mean, however, that we can’t enjoy a full life with diabetes.
 
Doctor Franz Martin Bermudo is one of Europe’s leading researchers and educators on the subject. His expertise and scientific rigor are the basis to help us understand diabetes better and tackle it properly. So that, ultimately, we can live with diabetes, but not be surpassed by it.
