What is Book the Vote?
Book the Vote is a nonpartisan Penguin Random House company-wide initiative that is dedicated to encouraging voter registration and voter turnout through employee and author engagement and support for our retailers’ displays, community nights, and more. As part of the campaign, Penguin Random House is partnering with HeadCount, a non-partisan organization which has registered Americans to vote at concerts, music festivals, and cultural events since 2004. Book the Vote invites authors, illustrators, booksellers, and readers everywhere to promote the power of the vote.

The idea for Book the Vote was born out of the excitement about the publication of Glimmer of Hope: How Tragedy Sparked a Movement (Razorbill and Dutton Adult, October 16), written by the March for Our Lives movement’s founders.
