About the Author
Susann Cokal has lived in various locations in the United States and in Poitiers, France, where she found the inspiration for Mirabilis. She earned her Ph.D. in Creative Writing from SUNY-Binghamton and her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from UC-Berkeley. This fall she will join the faculty at San Luis Obispo.Ms. Cokal has published in Hayden’s Ferry Review, Gulf Stream, and Arizona Mandala. Mirabilis is her first novel.
