Philip Deslippe

Philip Deslippe is a religious scholar who specializes in religious sects, folk magic, the New Thought movement, and the early history of yoga in the United States. He has edited and written a lengthy introduction to The Kybalion: The Definitive Edition, which was the first to answer many of the questions that have surrounded the book since its first publication in 1908. Deslippe is currently writing a biography of New Thought author, occult teacher, and American yoga pioneer William Walker Atkinson (1862–1932).
