Stacy Slinkard

Stacy Slinkard, author of Idiot’s Guides: Wine, is a certified sommelier and the wine expert for About.com, and has visited many Old World and New World wine regions. In addition to her work for About.com, she is a freelance writer on such topics as cellar management, wine procurement, and pairing, and teaches wine education classes, works at wine festivals, and coordinates professional wine tastings. Stacy holds a master’s degree in public health.
