Maryanne Fisher, PhD, is a psychology professor specializing in gender studies at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada. She attended York University, where she researched extensively the psychological complexities of relationships between men and women. Her research has appeared on the BBC and Discovery Channel. She is the coauthor of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Chemistry of Love.
