Ewa Hryniewicz-Yarbrough’s translations of Polish poetry have appeared in numerous publications, including The New Yorker, Poetry, TriQuarterly, The Paris Review, and Image; she has also translated the novels Annihilation and Rat, and translated a collection of Philip Levine’s poetry into Polish. One of her essays on the art of translation is forthcoming from TriQuarterly; her other nonfiction has appeared in Poetry and the San Francisco Chronicle. She divides her time between Krakow and Fresno, California.
