1.   We meet Daria “Dasha” Avramov under some unusual circumstances. What were your first impressions of her? Of her relationship with her half sister, Amrita?

2.   As a devil eater, Dasha’s magical affinity is rare and uncanny even by Avramov family standards. What did you think of her forays beyond the veil? Does the other side sound like a place you’d want to visit?

3.   The loss of both parents shaped Dasha into someone very different from the person she once was. Can you identify with the toll grief takes, and does it affect your perception of the mistakes Dasha has made?
