About the Author

Tundra author Jo Bannatyne-Cugnet writes novels and picture books. Her first book, A Prairie Alphabet with illustrator Yvette Moore became an instant bestseller and won many awards, including the Mr. Christie Award and was a finalist for several others, including the Saskatchewan Book of the Year Award. Jo and Yvette also collaborated
on A Prairie Year and Heartland: A Prairie Sampler. A mother of four sons, Jo Bannatyne-Cugnet lives with her family on a cattle and wheat farm in Saskatchewan.
