Scott Sicherer, MD, is a medical practitioner specializing in food allergies, and serves as director at the Elliot and Roslyn Jaffe Food Allergy Institute and chief of the Division of Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics at New York’s Mount Sinai. He has written of several books on food allergies, including Food Allergies: A Complete Guide for Eating When Your Life Depends on It, The Complete Peanut Allergy Handbook (with Terry Malloy), and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Dairy-Free Eating (with Liz Scott).
