TAJJA ISEN is the author of the essay collection Some of My Best Friends—named a Best Book of the Year by The Globe and Mail, CBC Books, Electric Literature, and Daily Hive—and coeditor of the anthology The World as We Knew It. She has written for outlets including The Atlantic, New York magazine, and The Walrus, where she is a contributing writer and has twice been a National Magazine Award finalist. Her work has been recognized with fellowships from the Black Mountain Institute, the Ucross Foundation, and the Sewanee Writers’ Conference. Originally from Toronto, she lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.
