Hisao Tamaki is a Japanese mangaka and illustrator best known for adapting Star Wars: A New Hope into manga format as the artist of Star Wars: A New Hope (The Manga). His other works include illustrating the sci-fi series Dirty Pair, as well as contributions to related art books and science-fiction manga projects.
