Shilpa Kamat

Shilpa Kamat is a poet, educator, and healing arts practitioner who has an MFA in creative writing. She has been writing stories and doing headstands since elementary school. She enjoys learning new things, teaching students of all ages, and hiking in wild places, especially in Northern California, where she resides. Braid by Braid is her debut novel.
