Izzy Broom

Izzy Broom began writing at the age of six. By then, she was also a proficient escape artist, regularly disappearing in department stores or clambering through windows. When she couldn’t physically get away, she turned instead to books, each chapter a door through which she explored the world. Later, Izzy combined these pursuits and became an author of escapist fiction, writing stories about history, humanity, and love in all its forms. She has won several awards and been published into 16 overseas markets. Based in Suffolk, England, Izzy travels widely in search of inspiration – a quest that led her to the Greek island of Folegandros, where her most recent novels are set.
