Nicola Blackwell

Nicola Blackwell is preoccupied with the light and dark of the human heart but, you know, in a fun way. An award-nominated author and editor, she holds a master’s degree in English literature and has worked across the literary industry as a bookseller, arts journalist, columnist, and manuscript editor. She is the author of the popular Substack newsletter Lost in Folklore. Nicola lives with her partner in the vibrant, creative (rainy!) city of Manchester, UK, where she drinks tea, walks in nature, loses herself in stories, and works on her novels. The Midsummer Girls is her debut thriller.
