Dr. Alok Patel is a board-certified pediatrician on faculty at Stanford University and previously at Columbia University. He is a medical contributor for ABC News, where he hosts a health segment called “Patel It Like It Is” and regularly reports on any topic that involves the human body. He is the cohost of The Pitt Podcast, the official companion podcast of The Pitt from HBO Max. He has worked as a medical producer for CNN and hosted shows for PBS that combined science, humor, and parenting.
