Eleanor Cardell grew up in sunny California and graduated from UC Davis with a degree in English. Now she lives in the rainy Pacific Northwest, where she enjoys spending warm days outside hiking and cold days inside researching and writing books. She has written three books in the Against the Odds series: Pompeii, Hurricane Katrina, and Titanic. When she’s not writing or hiking she loves to curl up with a good book, a fluffy blanket, and her two cats.
