“This novel made me laugh from the very first page and I just knew I’d adore it the whole way through. Now That We Don’t Talk is funny and cozy and filled with yearning. What I enjoyed most about it is how true to life Norah feels as our main character. We’re on this journey with her back home for Hanukkah and she has no choice but to finally face Henry and the grief she’s been avoiding since their friendship ended long ago. I found the balance of humor and sexual tension while Norah and Henry were working through a complicated history so refreshing. “I fell hard for Rachel Pologe’s utterly charming debut, which is a perfect blend of all my favorite tropes. Now That We Don’t Talk glows with tenderness, yearning, and an emotional payoff that’s well worth the heartbreak along the way. “Norah’s relatable, humorous voice shines in this character-driven debut…Henry has it bad for her throughout, and his devotion is utterly endearing. Their childhood friends-to-lovers arc is compelling, as they have so much shared history and intimate knowledge of each other, yet there are still things to learn and room for growth as they navigate a new relationship and reexamine their missed opportunities…the rich emotions ring true and propel the story forward. Lovable secondary characters and tried-and-true romance tropes add to the charm. A wintry romance with heartfelt emotional depth.”—Kirkus Reviews
