When a brilliant doctor dies in an earthquake and awakens as an assassin in another realm, vengeance – and the haunting visage of his sister – beckon in this darkly poetic isekai fantasy.
A brilliant surgeon meets a tragic end during an earthquake while operating on his only sibling. Reborn into a mysterious otherworld as a deadly assassin, he must reconcile his past vocation with a new, morally fraught existence as a “revenger.” Just as he contemplates his shattered identity, a girl who mirrors his sister appears before him – an uncanny echo that pulls him into a labyrinth of fate, duty, and supernatural suspense.
From the pen of Paneguma, whose genre-bending narratives masterfully weave medical ethics, otherworldly lore, and emotional depth, and inspired by the original story by MeguriKukuru, this gripping isekai fantasy introduces a unique healer-turned-killer grappling with loss and vengeance. With character designs by the acclaimed Minako Iwasaki – renowned for her illustration and design work across the Rune Factory and Ys series – this manga presents a visually stunning and emotionally charged journey that fans of supernatural thrillers won’t be able to resist.
