Divine conflict erupts as gods fall, and Yukito must decide whether to reshape faith or let it crumble – from the hit anime streaming on Crunchyroll.
The brittle equilibrium between faith and power shatters in Working for God in a Godless World Volume 6. With Mitama’s authority challenged on all sides, Yukito confronts a world unmade by divine overthrow. As Dakini’s cult fractures and new Archons rise – each vying to fill the spiritual void – loyalty becomes as dangerous as unbelief.
Caught between gods seeking obedience and mortals demanding hope, Yukito harnesses his cunning and Mitama’s lingering grace to outmaneuver rivals. The idol tactics that once rallied worshippers now twist into weapons of persuasion – and rebellion – blurring lines between propaganda and salvation.
As divine influence fractures, unexpected alliances form: former enemies hint at redemption, while faithless factions grow fearful of what another god might bring. Through betrayal, subterfuge, and fragile unity, Yukito faces an impossible choice: restore worship… or end it – before the world collapses under its own beliefs.
With Sonshō Hangetsuban’s expressive art and Aoi Akashiro’s deft balance of drama and dark humor, Volume 6 deepens the saga’s conflict and emotional weight – pushing this divine isekai into even more treacherous territory.
With the twelve-part anime adaptation on Crunchyroll growing in popularity, this volume is essential for fans of supernatural and isekai tales, offering a thrilling ride through divine struggles and human resilience.
