La tranquilidad en los terrenos de la Ricarda tiene los días contados: una muerte y una desaparición irrumpen en el espacio más cotizado del aeropuerto del Prat.

La familia Domènech ha vivido durante generaciones en un espacio privilegiado y protegido: la reserva natural de La Ferrera, en el delta del Llobregat. Pero la calma se rompe cuando, durante la Fiesta Mayor de la ciudad, encuentran un cadáver en la propiedad. ¿Quién ha matado a la chica que han descubierto en medio de un cañizal? ¿Y por qué motivo?

Mateu Domènech, uno de los dueños de la finca, decide contratar los servicios de Levy, un reputado detective, para encontrar al culpable. Pero este crimen no es el único suceso que afecta a la familia, pues la mujer de su primo, también propietario de La Ferrera, ha desaparecido hace unos días. La muerte y la pérdida despertarán los fantasmas, los misterios y las tensiones en la reserva y destaparán las verdades ocultas que esconde la familia, presionada a ceder sus terrenos para la ampliación del aeropuerto del Prat.

The days of the La Ricarda estate are numbered. Death and a disappearance shatter the peace of lands already in the sights of developers eager to expand the El Prat airport.

Generations of the Domènech family have enjoyed a privileged and protected existence on the La Ferrera nature reserve at the mouth of the Llobregat river. That peace is broken when a body is discovered on their property during the annual municipal festival. Who murdered the girl found dead in a cane field? Why was she killed?

Levy, a reputable detective, is hired by Mateu Domènech to find the murderer. The crime isn’t the only tragedy confronting the family, however; the wife of Mateu’s cousin, a co-owner of the estate, has been missing for days. The death and the disappearance stir up family ghosts, mysteries and tensions already at the breaking point from the airport’s encroachment on their land.
