A companion to Richard Rohr’s Eager to Love, designed to deepen understanding through contemplation and practice
This Companion Guide invites readers to move beyond insight into embodied experience, offering a structured path for engaging the core themes of Franciscan spirituality through reflection, contemplative practice, and intentional action. Rooted in the pedagogical approach of the Center for Action and Contemplation, the guide pairs selections from Richard Rohr’s text with probing questions, Lectio-style readings, and guided contemplative exercises designed to cultivate deeper awareness and integration.
Each chapter aligns with the original book, helping individuals and groups internalize its vision not just intellectually, but spiritually and practically. Readers are encouraged to slow down, engage holistically, and allow the material to reshape perception, prayer, and daily life.
More than a study guide, this is an experiential tool, one that invites readers to participate in the Franciscan way as a lived path of transformation, connection, and love.
