My First Piano Lessons Level 2

Emily Norris is an author, a course creator, an entrepreneur, and the founder of EBN Music. But first and foremost, she is a teacher. After many years of teaching piano and voice as a side hustle, Emily decided to make it a full-time gig and started EBN Music in 2020, hoping to continue teaching piano and singing and to build something meaningful for families. Since then, EBN Music has grown to include piano books, online courses, early childhood music classes, YouTube videos, and more. Emily is passionate about helping kids and parents feel confident making music together. She believes music should feel creative, approachable, and fun! She is also a mom to her beautiful rainbow baby, Molly; a fur mom to two German shepherds; and wife to Caleb, a motorcycle-loving 3D-printing enthusiast. When she is not teaching or writing, Emily enjoys hanging out with her family, playing games, watching guilty-pleasure TV, playing and listening to music, and discovering new favorite songs.More than anything, she hopes to inspire a lifelong love of music in everyone she meets.

Malgorzata Detner is a Poland-based illustrator, born in 1989. She currently lives with her family, a cocker spaniel, snails, and two lovely rats in Warsaw. Her love of drawing began at a young age, influenced by her mother’s paintings, but grew serious when she decided to pursue art in middle school. Although Malgorzata initially pursued a career in costume design with an interest in Victorian dresses, her daughter’s birth made her return to traditional painting and digital illustration. Influenced by old animation, mysterious, fantastic worlds, animals, and creatures in vibrant colors are what she likes drawing the most. She draws digitally but also likes to incorporate hand-painted textures into her work.
