DC’s award-winning Pride celebration is back—in an all-new format with a feature-length story starring Dreamer and Galaxy, plus can’t-miss short stories from across the DC Universe!
Dreamer and Galaxy suddenly awaken on the island of Themyscira…living their best lives as princess and champion of the Amazons! But wait—weren’t they just having a blowout friendship fight on the Watchtower, right in front of half the League? And who’s this mysterious man that just washed up on their shores, insisting Dreamer leave paradise with him to save the world? And why does this heroic origin story and its increasingly strange and shifting landscape feel both familiar and wrong all at once? It’s almost like…they’re lost in a dream?
The Eisner Award-winning DC Pride, an annual celebration spotlighting DC’s LGBTQIA+ characters, returns with a new format! DC Pride: Dream Girls features a four-part story starring Dreamer (introduced on the Supergirl TV series before becoming a sensation in the pages of DC Comics) and Galaxy (first seen in the original young adult graphic novel Galaxy: The Prettiest Star and now a major part of DC’s core universe), alongside the iconic heroes of the Justice League. This story is co-written by Nicole Maines (who portrayed Dreamer on Supergirl) and Jadzia Axelrod (writer of Galaxy: The Prettiest Star and Galaxy: As the World Falls Down), joined by artists Nicola Scott, J. Bone, Brandt&Stein, and more, each presenting different art styles as the dreamy narrative continues to shift.
Plus, in keeping with DC Pride tradition, this collection includes multiple short stories: a Batwoman story by Greg Rucka and Claire Roe; a Green Lantern Corps story by Morgan Hampton, Steven Underwood, and Alitha Martinez; a Poison Ivy story by G. Willow Wilson and Maria Llovet; and an autobiographical tale from comics legend Klaus Janson.
