The experience of getting to school spills over with bustle and life in this joyful lift-the-flaps story from the creators of the acclaimed B Is for Baby series.
Don’t be slow, it’s time to go! As the bus driver calls out to the children on his route, readers are invited to peek under the flaps to see what’s happening behind the scenes: mothers kissing their children or waving goodbye; a child on the school bus practicing a horn; brushing of teeth or watering of plants in the homes along the way. There’s always the chance of getting stopped in your tracks by a herd of goats crossing (go slow!), or a massive traffic jam, or engine trouble that throws a kink in the schedule, but there are surely other creative ways to get where you need to be. With a spare, dynamic, rhyming text and vibrant illustrations teeming with activity, Atinuke and Angela Brooksbank transform an everyday journey into an invigorating adventure.
