The longest-running WOLVERINE series concludes in suitably savage fashion!
The shadow of Weapon X once again falls over Wolverine! It begins with a series of unsettling dreams, but Logan’s nightmares soon become reality. Imprisoned and accused of killing a senator, Wolverine is “rescued” by the resurrected Weapon X Program — but what is its goal, and what is the disturbing secret of its new Director? Wolverine faces a martial-arts master with a fetish for death and an obsession to become “the best there is;” battles his way through a bloody Madripoor tournament featuring some of the deadliest fighters in the Marvel Universe; deals with the threats of Bloodscream, Mauvais, the Wendigo and his undead former mentor Ogun; and battles some of his deadliest deadly enemies — including the terrifying trio of Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike and Omega Red! Plus: A gruesome slugfest with the Punisher! A pair of encounters with Wolverine’s old sparring partner the Hulk! And the story they said could never be told: the game-changing origin of Wolverine!
