From the twice Bram Stoker Award® nominated author of Maria the Wanted, a thrilling vampire fantasy with a touch of romance steeped in the occult and featuring deities from the medieval grimoire, The Ars Goetia.
The Mexican vampires Maria (from Maria the Wanted) and Malinalli (from Immortal Pleasures) are working together as bounty hunters. Summoned by the demon Andromlius, the Chief Infernal of Justice, they’re charged with finding the Seal of Solomon. Malinalli for her ferocity and knowledge of relics and Maria for her expertise as a fighter and tracker.
It is feared that the ancient seal is being used once more to control demons and the Infernals are disappearing at a terrifying rate, but their frequencies can still be felt, meaning they are being held captive somewhere in this dimension.
As Malinalli and Maria embark on their quest, Maria is shocked when her old flame Lucifer reappears, reigniting the complex emotions between them. When it turns out the threat is much greater than they could possibly have imagined, they’re forced to work together or watch humanity be reduced to rubble.
A standalone set in the world of Maria and Malinalli, this blood-soaked, propulsive story of demons, vampires and romance is V. Castro at her very best
