MORTAL THOR Series

The continuing saga of Sigurd Jarlson, the mortal Thor!

He may be strong and good with a hammer, but Sigurd Jarlson is still only a man. The Cobra is something else. And he’s not alone. Donald Blake has sent four of Roxxon’s deadliest assassins after Sigurd, and they won’t stop until he quits — or he dies. Even when Sigurd goes on the run, he still has a weakness his enemies can exploit. He has neighbors, friends — maybe even more than friends. And the man called Mister Hyde knows it.

Stripped of his power, forgotten by the world, Sigurd Jarlson is the mortal Thor!

Like the rest of the world, Dario Agger doesn’t remember the Gods of Asgard. He doesn’t remember what it is about Sigurd Jarlson that… irritates him. But when Dario Agger is irritated — with a man or a god — he has a simple solution: murder! But Donald Blake knows exactly who and what Sigurd is, and he’s ready to reveal everything. A world away, Magni — son of Thor — is wreathed in sorrow, chained by his mother’s schemes, burdened by the weight of the throne of Asgard. As the forces of doom and death gather about him, can he escape his destiny? Or would his fall bring on a new Ragnarok? Then, at last, in the legacy 800th issue, comes the quest for Thor! Facing his greatest trial, without even a weapon in his hand, Sigurd must prove himself worthy to enter the Realms of the Gods!
