El universo de Cuitláhuac durante los pocos meses en los que dirigió el Imperio mexica

En esta entrega de la serie Grandes Tlatoanis del Imperio, nos adentramos al universo de Cuitláhuac durante los pocos meses en los que dirigió el Imperio mexica; los suficientes que necesitó para entender que Malinche -Hernán Cortes- era alguien que no respetaba los códigos de guerra, para comprender que las espadas, las armaduras y los caballos en conjunto eran invencibles ante las estrategias de batalla hasta entonces conocidas.

También es la historia del tlatoani que logro sacar a los españoles de Tenochtitlan, perseguirlos por todo el valle del Anáhuac y acorralarlos, y que abría alcanzado la victoria, de no haber sido por la aparición de una enfermedad desconocida que llenaba de ronchas a sus víctimas hasta la muerte.

Cuitlahuac’s universe during the few months he headed the Mexica empire.

In this installment of The Great Tlatoanis of the Empire series we delve into Cuitlahuac’s universe during the few months he headed the Mexica empire, enough time to understand that Malinche (Hernán Cortés) did not respect the code of war, to understand that swords, armor, and horses together became invincible against the battle strategies known to them.
 
It is also the story of the tlatoani that managed to get the Spaniards out of Tenochtitlan, who chased them through the entire Anahuac Valley and cornered them. Moctezuma Xocoyotzin, architect, knowledgeable poet, fervent priest, fearless warrior, astute politician, analytic man, unjustly underrated by historians and novelists, he was at the front of the most important incident in the history of the American continent. Aware of the danger in waging war against an invincible army because of the quality of their weaponry and the overwhelming number of allied troops, he decided to adopt a different strategy to keep his people from being massacred. He fought a battle of wits with a worthy adversary, Hernán Cortés.

Tlatoque

En 1429 el Principe Nezahualcóyotl, Izcóatl, y una decena de pueblos más se unen pata derrocar a Maxtla , el tirano usurpador que gobierna todo el valle del Anáhuac.

Tras la caída de Azcapotzalco, las tropas aliadas regresan a sus ciudades de origen, en donde esperan a que Nezahualcóyotl sea reconocido y jurado com huei chichimécatl tecutli (gran gobernante chichimeca), pero eso jamás ocurre. Mientras Chalco y Huexotla se sublevan e inician una serie de invasiones, los mexicas le exigen la mitad de tlatocáyotl (¨señorio¨) al coyote hambriento, beneficio que no formaba parte del acuerdo inicial. Tras bambalinas se encuentra el astuto Tlacaélel, que mueve los hilos no para arrebatarle a su primo Nezahualcóyotl el imperio chichimeca que le heredaron sus ancestros, sino para crear uno nuevo: el huei mexica tlatocáyotl ( ¨gran señorío mexica)

Enigmático y controvertido, Tlacaélel se devela como el catalizador de la Triple Alianza, padre de la manipulación histórica como adoctrinamiento e instrumento de exaltación de la grandeza tenochca, inventor de su propio papado, Cihuacóatl, creador de la religión de la sangre y los sacrificios humanos, fundador del Estado mexica, in cemanáhuac tepehua (¨conquitador del mundo¨) y consejero supremo de cuatro tlatoque. Tlacaélel, el poder detrás del poder.

Tlatoque.

In 1429, Prince Nezahualcoyotl, Izcoatl, and a dozen peoples unite to overthrow Maxtla, the tyrannic usurper ruling over the Valley of Anahuac.

After Azcapotzalco falls, the allied troops return to their cities, where they wait for Nezahualcoyotl to be acknowledged and sworn as huei chichimecatl tecutli (high Chichimeca ruler). But this never happens. While Chalco and Huexotla rise and incite a series of invasions, the Mexica demand half of the tlatocayotl (estate) from the hungry coyote, a profit that wasn’t part of the original agreement. Backstage we have the astute Tlacaelel, not moving the strings to take the Chichimeca empire his cousin Nezahualcoyotl inherited from his ancestors, but to create a new one: the huei mexica tlatocayotl (great Mexica estate).
 
Enigmatic and controversial, Tlacaelel is revealed as the catalyst for the Triple Alliance, father of historical manipulation as doctrine and a tool to praise the Tenochca greatness, inventor of his own papacy, Cihuacoatl, creator of a religion of blood and human sacrifice, founder of the Mexica estate, in cemanahuac tepehua (conqueror of the world), and supreme advisor to four tlatoque. Tlacaelel was the power behind the power.
