To stop the vile tyrant Buzzan from forcing Ulmandra to be his bride, Uchimura teams up with Ulmandra’s older brother, Vahn. They infiltrate the wedding, but Vahn’s attempt to assassinate Buzzan takes an unexpected turn. Angered by Vahn’s betrayal, Buzzan calls for his execution. Will Vahn’s carefully laid plan for revenge and his faith in Uchimura pay off? Or will it all come crashing down with the sudden appearance of a deadly new Calamity in Kuryuu?

THE ULTIMATE TEAM-BUILDING EXERCISE

Uchimura embarks on a perilous journey with a small band of the Demon Kingdom’s finest warriors to rescue Ulmandra, who’s been kidnapped. They attempt to infiltrate the castle disguised as a traveling group of merchants. Their plan is quickly thwarted, though, by non other than Ulmandra’s kidnapper–the dreadful Van!

Determined to turn the tables, Uchimura pulls out the aces up his sleeve: a former enemy and a frail young girl with the courage to come forward with the truth. “By the power invested in me as a Heavenly King for the Demon Army, you’re under arrest.” Viper finally faces the hammer of justice—only for the Demon Army to find itself in a new and unexpected bind!

Salaryman-turned-heavenly king Uchimura leads the Demon Army against a horde of invading wyverns. The army struggles valiantly but is overwhelmed by the appearance of a titanic dragon—that is, until the Demon Overlord arrives. After dealing with this threat, the Demon Overlord makes the following unexpected announcement:

“You, Uchimura, shall become the next king of the Demon Army!!”

While striving to deal with this unexpected promotion, Uchimura heads to his next mission, where he faces a new, severe problem.
