Gail Carson Levine has been writing all her life. Ella Enchanted, a Newbery Honor Book, was her first book for children and was made into a major motion picture. Dave at Night is an ALA Notable Book and Best Book for Young Adults. Levine’s other books include The Wish, Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg, and Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand.
