Alex Karpovsky has directed five feature-length films and currently plays the role of Ray Ploshansky in the HBO comedy series Girls. He has also acted in over thirty films, including the last two written & directed by the Coen Brothers – Inside Llewyn Davis and the upcoming Hail, Caesar!
