As a child, Pippa loved stories; listening to them, looking at pictures of them, and playing them. She became a bookseller and an avid reader. Now, with over 160 books published, she’s always mindful of children who deserve the effort of reading to be rewarded with satisfying stories or interesting information or fun games. Her You Choose picture books, illustrated by Nick Sharratt, have sold over two and a half million copies and won a number of awards. Her historical novel, The Great Sea Dragon Discovery won the Young Quills Award for best children’s historical novel for 2019. She works with adults and children who want to write their own stories.
