Ann Adams

A A

In a past life, Ann Adams was a junior national champion, national medalist, and resident of the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York. She competed in sprint kayaking—a sport that’s a lot like rowing, except kayakers face the right direction and no one has ever heard of them. Today, she lives in Sacramento, California, where she spends most of her time analyzing public policy and going for moderate hikes with her husband and overly enthusiastic cockapoo. Mostly, though, she’s writing stories—especially those about women falling in love and finding their power. Racing Hearts is her debut.
