Jessica Blackburn is an artist who enjoys finding magic in the mundane. She spent her childhood playing make-believe outdoors, catching lizards, and swimming in local lakes and streams, experiences that now breathe life into her imaginative creations. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville (Go Hogs!) and later received her Master of Arts and Art Theory from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. Jessica now lives in a cabin nestled in the Ozark Mountains with her talented artist husband, their two hilarious and energetic children, and a sweet black kitty named Nessie.
