Amanda M. Fairbanks
Amanda M. Fairbanks is an award-winning journalist and the author of The Lost Boys of Montauk: The True Story of the Wind Blown, Four Men Who Vanished at Sea, and the Survivors They Left Behind. A graduate of Smith College and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she earned two master’s degrees, Fairbanks is also a former Teach for America corps member. The California native lives with her family in Sag Harbor, New York.
