LUCY FERRISS is the author of seven novels, including The Lost Daughter. Her fiction has won awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Faulkner Society, and the Midlist First Series in Short Fiction. Her essays appear regularly in the New York Times and other national publications. She is Writer in Residence at Trinity College and lives in Connecticut and the Massachusetts Berkshires.
