Anne Birrell

Anne Birrell is the author of Chinese Mythology: An Introduction, New Songs from a Jade Terrace, and Popular Songs and Ballads of Han China. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Columbia University, Birrell has taught Chinese and Chinese literature at Cambridge University and the City University of New York.
