Roger Steiner was a lexicographer, an emeritus professor of linguistics and cognitive science, a Fellow of the Dictionary Society of North America, and the author of numerous foreign language dictionaries. In his youth, Steiner served in World War II. He taught linguistics at the University of Delaware for 33 years. Roger Steiner passed away in 2012 at the age of 88.
