Paula M. Elbirt

Paula M. Elbirt is a licensed pediatrician based in New York City. She spent most of her career in private practice and medical school professorships until a 1989 appearance on a morning show instilled in her a love of public education. From then on, Elbirt broadened her work to include child advocacy and childhood education, appearing regularly on talk shows and news networks, and in magazines. Elbrit is the author of several books on science-based parenting, including Dr. Paula’s Good Nutrition Guide for Babies, Toddlers, and Preschoolers: Answers to Parents’ Most Common Questions Plus Help for Coping with Fussy Eaters, as well as Dr. Paula’s House Calls to Your Newborn.
