As well as writing about earth science topics, he runs a computer graphics company specializing in the visualization of geographical and astronomical data. He is the coauthor of Ocean: The Definitive Visual Guide, Universe: The Definitive Visual Guide, and Ocean: The World’s Last Wilderness Revealed.
